- Bring a large pan of water to the boil.
- Break each egg and slip it gently into the water. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until the eggs are cooked.
- With a slotted spoon, lift out each egg and drain on kitchen paper.
- Trim the egg white to a neat shape with a knife or kitchen scissors.
Cooking tip: If your eggs are not really fresh, adding white wine vinegar to the poaching water will help the egg white to coagulate, although it will slightly flavor the egg. Of course, with Hilltops Free Range, your eggs are always fresh from the farm.
